William Gnakpa is a French artist from Ivory Coast and Mali.

He grew up in the suburbs of Paris in the 90s, imbued with pop culture which now has a predominant place in his work.

He claims to be from the Manga generation.

He draws his inspiration from American animated films, French cartoons and also contemporary urban art.

 The artist has developed a unique process for the design of his works;

​

First, a pictorial approach using pencils and black felt on paper for the base. Follows a digitization process.

​

Through several mediums, his works bring out his multiple inspirations and give life to his imagination.

​

William invites you to discover his vision of a dreamlike world, combining bright colors and captivating characters, which give way to reverie.
